A shackle buoy provides a recessed area that shields the shackle from your boat hull.
The rope nest design of this mooring buoy offers a recessed area for the anchor shackle to nest below the buoy surface. This recessed area helps shield the shackle from contacting the boat hull and offers a nesting place for the pendant line when the boat departs from the mooring. Hard-skin polyethylene shell is UV protected. Sandblasted finish allows the buoy to be painted for easy identification. The blue stripe is reflective for nighttime visibility. Filled with EPS foam to positively displace water up to 100lb. of buoyancy.* Hardware sold separately.
