Fees Details

UAE national: Registration fee for a pleasure boat owned by a UAE national - tonnage x AED 4.5, with a minimum of 100 AED and a maximum of 10,000 dirhams annual tax. Total tonnage x AED 2 with a minimum of 20 AED Foreigner: Foreigner-owned excursion boat registration fee - payload x 6.5 minimum AED 500

Copy of the emirates ID (both sides)

Original Invoice duly attested by the Chamber of the Commerce or building certificate for new boat.

{Original Bill of Sale and Deletion certificate issued by MOEI , Court or one of the competent official authorities for used boat } { Duly attested customs manifest for imports boats from UAE Embassy from the country of origin and Ministry of Foreign affairs in UAE.}

Ownership card of a boat trailer registered by the traffic Department OR Parking certificate for the boat at one of the UAE marinas OR a scheme (outline) of ownership of a house on the sea, or if residents of one of the islands

A boat insurance policy valid for 13 months

Inspection report from CICPA (Coast Guard)

Radio installation certificate from TDRA applicable only if the boat 35 Ft. and above.

Salary certificate or Official Labor Contract for employed with non-Government organization with minimum salary of AED. 20000 Or Owner partner in a commercial license and its capital is not less than 150 thousand dirhams – or any proof of income which MOEI will approve. (Applicable for Foreigners)
Terms And Condition

The age of the applicant for registration shall not be less than (18) eighteen years old.

The total monthly income is not less than 20 thousand dirhams according to a salary certificate issued by a competent governmental authority or official Labor Contract for employed with a non-Government organization, owner /partner in a commercial license, and its capital shouldn't be less than 150 thousand dirhams (Applicable for Foreigners owners)
